Pokémon #292 in the National PokéDex, a dual type Bug/Ghost Pokémon. Shedinja is a Pokémon based on a cicada's shed exoskeleton. Most of its body is light brown, but the abdomen is gray.
It is a special evolution of Nincada. If the player has an extra PokéBall, an extra space in the party and Nincada reaches level 20, Shedinja appears in the extra slot. It is notable for having the lowest HP of any Pokémon in the game, at only 1 HP, and it is impossible to increase it through level up.
