Dice are small, throwable objects used to generate random values in various forms of gambling and a wide variety of games.
While six-sided, cubical dice are by far the most common, polyhedral dice with 4, 8, 10, 12, and 20 sides appear frequently in specific settings, particularly in table-top Dungeons & Dragons and its many descendants.
