The oval-shaped balls used in rugby. π
Appearance-wise modern rugby balls are sort of a cross between a soccer ball and balls used in American football. They tend to be more colorful, frequently having a white base with other colors on top, while American footballs are traditionally only a solid brown. Modern rugby balls also tend to lack the laces on the side that are a standard feature on American footballs. Shape-wise a Rugby ball has slightly rounder ends compared to an American football.
