Visual novel developed by âge and released in 2001. An anime adaptation aired in 2003, and an OVA adapting one of the VN's other routes was released between 2007 and 2008.
The series is set in the same continuity as Kimi ga Ita Kisetsu and Muv-Luv, and has a short comedy-focused spinoff in Akane Maniax.
The anime adaptation was licensed by Funmation in America, who released it under the title Rumbling Hearts. An official English translation of the VN was announced in 2020, and the title of the release was later revealed to be The Eternity You Desire.
