Also called "plumber's crack", it is the top-most region of the ass that is usually seen if the character's pants are too loose fitting. Alternatively if a character's ass is too large for their bottom clothing, then the top most region of their ass may be visible. If the full ass is visible, then just use ass as the butt crack tag is only to refer to a partially visible portion.
