Griffith is the antagonist of Berserk. A man whose dream is to rule a land of his own, he once led the mercenary company known as the Band of the Hawk, and was once Guts's best friend. Now the two men are mortal enemies, and Guts wants more than anything to take vengeance upon Griffith for the events of the Eclipse.
Following the Eclipse, Griffith has become Femto, the fifth member of the God Hand, and has recently reincarnated back on earth as the human Griffith again, with an army of Apostles at his beck and call.
