User avatars for Nintendo's Wii, 3DS, and Wii U video game systems, appearing too on the Switch in a lesser capacity. Typically super deformed (chibi), sometimes without legs or arms (though inclusive of hands).
The Wii and the Wii U each have a unique set of Miis that appear as CPUs in Nintendo's games, the most well-known of the Wii set being Matt (ใใใ). However, Nintendo does make unique original Miis when needed; for instance, Nikki for Swapnote and Sheila Bell for Surechigai Meikyuu.
Numerous Nintendo games, such as Mario Kart (since Mario Kart Wii) and Super Smash Bros. allow players to use their Miis as playable characters. In the Super Smash Bros. series, the generic Miis used to represent the Brawler, Gunner, and Swordfighter types are shown to be based off the default Miis Guest C, Guest F, and Guest B.
Spiritually succeeded by the Sportsmates of Nintendo Switch Sports, even if you can still play with and against Miis in that game.
