Alias's message practically vibrated with excitement. The several heart emojis made her enthusiasm clear.
"Okay! I'm looking forward to our date, 기야!" Bouquet replied, a warm feeling blooming in his chest.
The following day, as Booquet was eagerly preparing and dressing up for their date, his phone buzzed with an incoming call. A wide smile stretched across his face as he saw Alias's name flashing on the screen.
"BOOQUET! Are you ready? Come down to the parking lot!"
Bouquet chuckled, her infectious energy never failing to brighten his day.
Hurrying down stairs with excitement to the parking lot, Booquet was startled by a couple of loud honks. There, in the driver's seat, sat Alias. Her window was rolled down, and an excited glint was shining in her eyes.
"I'm driving this time, babe. Hop on the Dullahan!" Alias winked, attempting to maintain a cool and smug demeanor. "Am I not the coolest fiancée?" Alias added with confidence.
"Yes, the coolest fiancée in the world." Booquet confirmed with affection by leaning in to kiss Alias on the cheek before fastening his seatbelt. Alias giggled, squirmed, and blushed at the affectionate gesture.
"Okay, so where are we headed?"
"I told you it's a surprise, so you will just have to wait. I will not spoil the secret that easily today." Alias proudly puffed out her chest.
Boooquet settled back into his seat, content to enjoy the ride and the growing anticipation of their destination. The two drove off, engrossed in cheerful conversation.
Alias pulled into a small plaza. It's charming storefronts bathed in the warm glow of the afternoon sun, which housed a bakery called "V4Cafe" written in elegant cursive on a signboard adorned with delicate pastel-colored flowers.
"Surprise! I've heard fantastic reviews about this little cafe, and the best part is that not many people know about it yet, so it's like having the whole place to ourselves!" Alias announced, her voice brimming with excitement.
"Wow, this place is charming! And, the cakes and pastries are adorable!" Booquet exclaimed, taking in the cozy ambiance.
"So cute, right? Vee-Sensei recommended this place to me."
"OH?! If it's Vee-Sensei, our boba tea connoisseur, I'm sure this place will be amazing! Thank you for bringing me here, Alias!" Bouquet replied with amazement.
"Heh heh heh, come on, let's try some of the sweets and drinks! Aaah, it's so hard to choose! Everything looks delicious and cute!" Alias added, her eyes widening at the sight of the delectable treats displayed in the glass counters and her steps bouncing with excitement. As Booquet was about sample the parfait, a gentle finger was placed up on his lips.
"No, no, today I'm the one taking care of you Booquet."
"Huh, you want to feed me? I'll happily accept. In fact, yes, please!" 😳
Alias, with a twinkle in her eye, scooped a spoonful of parfait and offered it to Booquet. "Say 'ahh', Booquet!"
"Aaaaah, Mmmm! So sweet and decadent! The fresh cream and strawberries are so tasty!"
They spent the entire day enjoying their treats and each other's company. The cafe, bathed in the warm glow of the sunset, felt like their own private haven.
"Thank you for today, Alias," Booquet said, his hand finding hers. "It's been perfect."
"I'm so glad you loved it, Booquet," Alias replied, giving his hand a squeeze. Time once again stopped as their eyes locked into each once more.
"Ummm, excuse me... I'm sorry to interrupt, b-but...I need to close the cafe." The cafe worker nervously interjected before the two lovers get lost in their own world. Both of them blushed bright red and sincerely apologized to cafe worker before quickly rushing out of the cafe, hand in hand laughing at their silliness.
