My novel's setting, the space elevator (GEO Tower) and a space shuttle. The spacecraft is diving at a very high speed, producing a plasma sheath (In fact, if a spacecraft's attack angle like this one in this painting, it will burn up).

When the aircraft returns to the atmosphere, the flight speed is extremely high, and it can reach ten to hundreds of times the speed of sound. This creates a strong shock at the front end of the aircraft. Due to the compression of the shock around the head of the aircraft and the viscosity of the atmosphere, a large amount of kinetic energy for high-speed flight is converted into heat. When the surface of the aircraft reaches a very high temperature, both the gas and the ablated heat-proof material are ionized.
This altitude is about 30 to 50 kilometers, the atmosphere is thin enough to allow the aircraft to fly at high speeds, but it generates a lot of heat.
But the building that leads to the Geosynchronous obrit is relatively stationary with the ground (synchronous autobiography), so there is no plasma sheath on the building.
