God Defend New Zealand
1:40 pm., 15th, March 2019, which is "one of the NZ's darkest days", such an unfortunate accident happened in Christchurch.
We shall remember Atta Elayyan, the 33-year old talented man born in Kuwait, worked in Christchurch as CEO of Lazyworm Apps and developer of WP platform, now resting in peace.
We shall remember Husna Achmed, the 44-year old brave woman who attempted to protect children from shooting, then killed by the homicidal maniac.
We won't neglect Linda Armstrong, the 65-year old enthusiastic KIWI who served in the Muslim community center, used to help those who suffer from the war to settle in New Zealand.
We will never forget Mucad Ibrahim, the 3-year old lovely child, the youngest victim in this catastrophe.
All mourning aside, we've got a chance of showing our solidarity, respect, and love. Thanks for people who chose to face bravely, go out of their homes, mourn the deceased, and form a strong force of unity in this sad city.
We were chosen for this violence not because we condone racism, nor we belong to extremism, precisely because we represent diversity, goodness and compassion, a home shared with like-minded people and a refuge for those in need. These values will not and cannot be shaken by this attack!
We are proud to be a country with more than 200 ethnic groups and more than 160 languages. We oppose racial discrimination and share common values in such a diverse environment. We are going to overcome the catastrophe, face to the future. We are going to prove that we will never be defeated by hate! We are going to show that we are living in a pure land full of love and respect!
Kia Kaha! God defend New Zealand!
