Inktober Day 25: Buddy

Featuring: Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon

I must apologize firstly for that ending. But let me just explain these two.

So both of these Digimon appeared in the original run of the anime and they were always in a bit of a mischief. The Digimon Community very much recognize their relationship as being the best of buddies.

Now about that ending:

I had done some quick research (your basic wiki) about Pumpkinmon's Axe and so far, he never actually use it. Its mostly an aesthetic thing. So there isn't really a lore behind that mysterious axe. But hey, its nice to wonder.
