Art made to commemorate Kirby's 31st birthday. I wanted to represent the huge wave of fan works on social media that strikes us the moment Kirby's birthday starts, and while I originally planned to make this comedic, I concluded it was better to take an emotional angle instead. Kirby's anniversary is the time of the year when fans show their dedication the most, sharing works filled with heart, love and passion for the series... It's extremely beautiful and moving. I imagine Kirby must be very happy with the fruits of our hard work, just like we're happy because he's been with us for another year.
