5 - Ribombee's Candy Cane Hot Cocoa
As we move into December and approach the big gift-giving holiday, I find the satisfaction of a well made cup of hot chocolate all the sweeter. Looks like this shiny Ribombee has made one just for you, so be sure to enjoy your fill!
Hot cocoa really is my favorite this time of year, and I think I know the best way to make it too. A method a friend shared with me once... take half a bar of chocolate of your choice, and melt it using a double boiler (just boil water in one pot and have another on top for the chocolate), and use a bit of salt for the melt and to bring out flavor. Add milk, stir, let it heat up, and stir once more to really mix up the milk and chocolate. For extra minty kick, use peppermint bark chocolate or a candy cane as Ribombee is above!
This is my third entry for SugarMasonMearii 's 100 days of Christmas collab, day 5. Christmas is around the corner, and hot chocolate is the drink of choice I have for the holiday, so of course I knew exactly what I had to draw!!
