Nanami is the character in “Punishing: Gray Raven”, and the pronunciation of her name is similar to 70 in Chinese. Toolman here is a common title to describe characters in game only shown up couple seconds to provide support, and that fit ms well on a lot of characters I like. Because they don’t have higher value in their skill sets, players like to lable them “trash” regardless they have smooth gameplay, good design, great story etc. And I try to express this situation by drawing a doodle on Nanami’s back. In contract with her cheerful characteristic, she is crying in dark now. To express the theme ironically, she says “I hate human” instead of “Nanami likes human”, which is a line she says a lot in the game. At the beginning I want to draw a background that has a pile of broken robots behind her and a homeless cat next to her to solidify the theme. But I was discouraged and gave up because I messed up her clothes and I didn’t think my skill was there yet. So it ends up like this.
