While writing this book, how much of Seija's behavior is "the nature of an amanojaku" (loves being hated) and how much is "talk befitting an amanojaku" (claims to hate what she actually loves) was a huge pain to think about!!! (lol) But in the end, Shinmyoumaru accepts her feelings for whatever they are.
Seija takes Shinmyoumaru's declaration that doing so will hurt her as a pretext to reveal her true feelings. Seija's confession hurts Shinmyoumaru → Shinmyoumaru grieves the loss of Seija → Seija is happy. From here on out, Seija can profess her "love" with perfect honesty and enjoy "the catharsis created by the flipside of love". I think even Seija herself delights in the ability to be "honest" for the first time in her life. That's the kind of ending I went for here.
I think even these two's twisted relationship can work out somehow with the brute force of Shinmyoumaru's dumb honesty! (baseless)

First off, thank you very much for purchasing and reading this book!
I wanted to do some exploration of the love-hate-filled relationship between Seija, who has already appeared in my Nico Nico Douga video series "Touhou Tanpatsuka" (Shorthair Evil), and Shinmyoumaru, who hasn't yet.
Seija the manipulator, Shinmyoumaru the manipulated. However, this book starts out with the interpretation that even as Seija piled on every lie to keep Shinmyoumaru deceived, she wasn't just laughing to herself, but there was some genuine love and honeymoon hidden somewhere in there. (The strange way that in Impossible Spell Card, Seija seems unwilling to attack Shinmyoumaru and ultimately Shinmyoumaru also stops attacking and leaves just added more fuel to my fire.)
