The Legend of Zelda is probably my favorite game series, ever since I played Ocarina of Time for the first time on the N64. I think one of the most impactful moments for me in the game(and games in general) is the final battle where Ganondorf transforms into beast Ganon and rises up before you as the dark and imposing king of evil. That moment always stuck with me! For a long time I've tried making a piece to capture how I felt as a kid playing the game in that moment. I think this painting gets closer than any of my previous attempts. I chose to represent both Ganon and Link with elements that are my favorites from each of the installments. Ganon being more of a pig beast, Link being more of a kid, that kind of thing. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my interpretation. Thanks for looking!
