This is my 43rd book. Zounose here. This book was made for the online event "Air Comiket 2". It's actually my first book drawn for the purpose of being published at a web event. Yeah, I already drew the shorter comic "Sichuan Girl" for Air Reitaisai back in May, but that was never designed to be made into a book. It was uploaded on Pixiv and such, so go take a look if you haven't yet.

Afterword

I also just wanted to see Youmu kill a man. So at least I can consider that wish fulfilled. Her tsujigiri attitude already comes up in IaMP, of course, and based on everyone's reactions when Piece's torch drives her mad in VFiS, her slashing at people for no reason seems to be a regular occurrence. Non-humans and people like Reimu and friends can probably deal with it, but anyone else... Well, that brings us here.

With this, I'll have published 5 books this year, just like I did last year! Alright—!! That was one of my goals for this year, so I feel really accomplished!!! That being said, I wasn't able to put out a compilation book because I was afraid of inventory problems. If the event was canceled right after I'd already printed them, my apartment would be buried in cardboard boxes. It's really hard to gauge actual circulation from web events like this, too. I hope that next year we can enjoy the doujin life without worrying about such things, but looks like we'll be here for at least a while longer, huh...? Well, if anything, work has been a confusing mess too, so I'm worried about how that'll turn out as well. I intend to give it my best shot!

Next up should be Shizuoka Reitaisai in March... Well, I'm actually planning to participate in the Touhou collab event "Sakuradayori" right before it. I even got to draw the recruitment banner for it, so I'm looking forward to it! That being said, I'm not planning to publish a new book there, only sell this book in printed form for the first time. It would be great to put out some home-printed book or something. But I am in fact publishing a new work at Reitaisai right afterwards, so I might not be able to make the deadline... That book should be the Kanako & Eirin book that I mentioned in last time's afterword. But, well then. I hope we can meet again.

As you can see, this was a gag manga starring Youmu. With her dumb kid bit in Cheating Detective Satori, plus her insult & drunken fury bit in Lotus Eaters, this year (or everything since last year's WBaWC, actually) really has been good for Youmu. She even took first place in the fandom popularity poll. All these appearances really stuck with me too, which is more or less what lead to this book.
