Tempe Mendoan
Tempe Mendoan is a tempeh that is battered and cooked instantly in very hot oil, resulting in cooked batter on the outside but half cooked tempeh inside. Compare to the fully cooked tempeh, it has much softer texture. It’s usually served with Bird’s eye chilies and Sambal Kecap (sweet and spicy soy sauce).
