That being said, I still ended up liking the book itself. Overused gags aside, I feel like it's pretty fun and energetic. It was fun to write, too! Having Remilia make funny faces and suffer is the best. We should blow it up again soon.
By the way, this is an utterly meaningless point of self-satisfaction, but I really love the phrase "We can tell your hometown" ("Your accent's slipping"). I try to use it in real life too, so I'm glad I got to put it in. "Hiyori-san, if you use such foul language, we can tell your hometown." Like so.
But in any case, this was another SDM explosion manga.
Even though we just finished this one, for reasons, I've already finished scripts for two more stories, so I hope we can just get even better from here on.
There's still a lot of stories I wanna write, so I hope you'll stick with us again.
See you!The one who makes the Mansion go boom. This is the artist Hiyori speaking!
We were originally thinking about a more relaxed story starring the three witches for our second Winter Comiket book, but it turned out I didn't have enough time to draw it, so this is what you get this time. Didn't expect it to weirdly overlap with current events, though!
I made the writer Hisaka make like two books' worth of changes, so I feel terribly sorry about that. But as the result, we got a really intense book, so I'm satisfied.Drawing Remilia with different expressions was fun! Personally, I really like a Sakuya-san who does nothing on her own if not specifically ordered by Remilia. Hey, elegant maid—! Work a little harder—! It feels like a lot could be avoided of if she just did something about it, but perhaps she's doing it on purpose to help her Mistress grow... or maybe she just enjoys watching all this unfold.
With all that, this was a SDM explosion prevention manga. I hope you enjoyed it!
We've got a bunch of stories piled up we want to do, so we're going to keep working hard and pushing out books next year as well. But now, I've written about as much as time will allow!
Hope to see you next time!"Another explosion ending!!! Really?!!!"
And yet we still did it again.
"Making a joke about explosion jokes themselves is gonna be hilarious for sure!" we thought in some moment of alcohol-filled excitement, and the basic story made it basically unchanged from storyboard to final manuscript.
Well, what's done is done...
"Blown up in the summer, rebuilt by winter just in time to blow, blow, blow! Are you not embarrassed as a writer!?" I hear the voices in the distance.
