I like the concept that sometimes exorcisms get dangerous or other things happen and (now) Reigen doesn't want to bother any of his friends with it. His injuries here aren't really serious and he might've been able to get away with hiding them if somebody didn't decide to visit at a bad time. ;) (Wink)
