Afterword
Hello and nice to meet you, or nice to see you again.
Dra here.
This time's story was about the Komeiji sisters playing shogi.
Let me just apologize right off the bat, I myself don't actually know a thing about shogi. I just barely know how the pieces move, but that's it. Even katachidzukuri is something I quickly researched on the internet. I'm very sorry if I got anything wrong.
That's an interesting concept, though. Pro players with their pride and reputation care a lot about how they lose. I figured that sounded like something youkai would do as well.
Shou and Naz look like it's really hot out because it's summer on the Surface. Why? Because I was originally planning to release this at Summer Comiket.
Well, truth be told, I just wanted to draw them lightly dressed and trying to beat the heat.I drew that panel of Satori-san going clack-clack all by herself, but the joke was that she was actually playing solo and solving shogi problems with like a puzzle game mentality. She wasn't really lonely or anything. She tried teaching Orin and Okuu at some point, but they just wouldn't learn. Okuu, seriously! Listen, the knight can only move so far!
Koishi-chan tends to wander off here and there and sometimes not see her sister for a while, but I like to think that she still randomly pops into her mind every now and then. They're the only sisters they have, after all. Always worrying about each other.
Even if they can't read each other's minds.
Or even if they're off somewhere else.
Well then, that's all for this time.
I hope we can meet again over my next book.
Thank you very much for reading!!
