Their attachment really is different than either love or friendship, but then again, it's kinda love too... which is why their relationship is so awesome (look at my vocabulary) wherever you start. I'm glad if I got that feeling across at all. While working on this, I realized that the part with young Marisa kept shrinking and shrinking, so I'll have to get revenge for that sometime. (I always start erasing stuff from the storyboard when I get worried about something...)

And this is just personal stuff, but it's now been 10 years since I first started drawing Touhou. I sincerely think that it's all thanks to the awesome power of official games and print works coming out without break, and everyone who's said they've sympathized with my ramblings! Thank you very much! I'll keep taking it easy and working hard, so I hope you'll look forward to it.

Afterword I just wanted to draw Reimu being coddled and young lady Kirisame for once, but at some point... it turned into this... I'm sorry for always insisting on this made-up idea that Marisa' mother is dead. I feel like when I started it drawing, it just ended up the as always... I just can't help it... uu...
