Niy here. I somehow managed to finish another book.
It was the toughest one so far! But I did it—!! (Sorry for a second time in a row!)
This was a battle I've wanted to draw for a while now. It's been my dearest wish to get to draw "Meiling vs Youmu", "blade vs. martial arts". Problem is, Meiling and Youmu really have no connection between them, but after a bunch of research I came across the story of the "dream of Kasho".
In China, nice dreams you have during an afternoon nap are called "dreams of Kasho" and napping itself is called "playing in dreams of Kasho", so I felt like that fit Meiling pretty well.
Meanwhile, Yuyuko had a spell card mentioning Kasho, which felt like a good way to expand it into a story involving Youmu.
It's said that the dreams of Kasho gave the Yellow Emperor, who is considered China's first, hints on how to govern his devastated realm. I thought about how this might affect the inhabitants of Gensokyo and made this plot out of it, but, well, I didn't really manage to tie together all of it!
Wonder what sort of conversation the butterfly had with Meiling when it possessed her?
I'll make an announcement here.
To be honest, my private life has been really busy lately, so I'll have to lay off doujin work for a moment. I have no current plans for re-releases, but I'll keep putting pictures and such on Twitter, so I hope you can keep looking forward to my next work while I recharge.
Well then, thank you very much.
