Waaah, it feels so amazing to get out my second book.
The first book took longer than expected, so I was a bit worried, but I somehow managed to wrap this up within a week.
Feel free! To praise me! Actually, please do!Geez, 2019 really is almost here, huh? It doesn't feel real yet...
I owe a lot of people for their help with this book. With the Japanese, the design, I'm really really thankful to all of them. I'm also really thankful to everyone who read this far for sticking with me till the very end of 2018. I hope to see you again 2019 and beyond.
Afterword
It's a story of Reimu-san writing Yukari-san a letter on Sanae-san's (pseudo-)advice. Yukari-san doesn't show up at all, so I don't know if you can really call this YukaReimu, but she's just hibernating. Despite it being winter, the first book didn't feel wintery at all, so I wanted to something about that.
I'm usually drawing them flirting before sleep, so I wanted to do a peaceful... a bit more quiet story... but as I drew, the dialogue kept increasing, and in the end... it might've ended up even noisier than usual...!
When I'd just come to Japan, a friend took me to a bookstore where I found a girls' magazine with a manga-drawing set attached... huh!? That seems way more expensive than a magazine, no matter how you cut it! "Magazine extras really can be anything, huh!" That excitement (?) must've gotten my mind racing and affected this story as well.This was a bit like the Valentine's Day story I did for the YukaReimu book at Spring Reitaisai. That was tons of fun to draw, so I ended up doing similar again. I love ReiSana too, so just drawing these two talking is fun for me personally. Sanae-san here has been weirdly preoccupied with Reimu-san's love life as of late.
I actually don't draw her that much or really bring it up, so a lot of people might not know that Sanae-san is my third favorite character in all of Touhou. I really really love her, so why don't I draw more of her...!? Next year I hope to draw more Sanae-san, and Moriya Shrine too. I should find more space in my schedule and do it while on break... Yeah, I'll give it my all!
