Afterword
Hello, my name's 13 (Ichimi).
This is, let's see... my 5th book. It's been a while since the last one... about a year already. More people than I expected have been kind enough to read my books, and I ended up putting a lot of pressure on myself knowing that. It made my pen feel heavy at times, but in the end, I feel like I managed to turn it into improvement.

Another pretty dark one, huh? I can't help but worry if this vision of Gensokyo came across like I meant it to. It seemed like the book was getting too long, so I nervously started chipping bits off, cutting out text and just running out of words. I'd like to talk about a few things here.
As with last time's story, Yukari continues to come across as really off-putting. Sorry to all Yukari fans out there. But don't get me wrong, I don't dislike her at all. If anything, she's a "hero" reigning at the peak of youkaidom. The saying goes that Gensokyo accepts anything, but if that were true, I figure it'd just end up like the Outside World.
Which is why those words probably actually mean "Gensokyo will accept whoever wants to enter. However, after that, I (the youkai) will decide your role and purpose."
In this story drawn with Marisa at the center and from Marisa's point of view, the system comes across as horribly cruel and absurd, but from Yukari's perspective, they're just watching the same play over and over. Still in pretty poor taste, though.
I should now be done with stories about Marisa and this particular Gensokyo for the moment, though I wouldn't mind drawing one from the POV of youkai Alice somewhere down the line. However, for next Kouroumu, I'm going with a Rumia story as something of a palate cleanser. It crosses over with my previous Rumia story a bit.
That being said, I've received a questions about when that Wakasagihime book I promised around last year's Kouroumu is coming out. I'm very sorry. I promise, it's in the works... I just feel like I have more interesting ones (not that it isn't interesting too!) too work on, and it ends up being pushed back. As it's being pushed back now...
Below is a list of some stories I'd like to draw sometime. If you comment saying which ones you're especially interested in, who knows, those might get priority. Conversely, if there's something you don't see below but would also like, don't hesitate at all to tell me your thoughts.
