Motoori Norinaga: a pioneer of the study of ancient Japanese culture, famed for his modern translation of the Kojiki. In 1736, at the age of 16, he was called by the nickname Yashirou.
Leaving his home in the Ise Province to study commerce in Edo, it is said that Yashirou had trouble with an inaccurate map on the way. After returning home, he crafted the precise "Map of Great Japan and the Four Seas", yet the home of a a certain someone was excluded from it.
And so, that lost history shall be recorded here.
