At first I couldn't decide whether to include the more serious part in the second half (I still feel like it might be a bit superfluous?), but I happened to be hyped up from reading the WaHH issue with Tenshi and Komachi just at the time I was polishing the plot, so I made up my mind and shoved it in. "The truly evil people are completely convinced everyone's like them" is a sort of line I can really feel, but most importantly, I'm really glad my idea of Komacchan as someone easy on herself and harsh on others didn't waver. That outfit of hers sure is great too, isn't it?

The doppelganger ended up only being used as a brief joke, but in the original plot, Sumireko was saved by sacrificing her doppelganger. However, doing something so big with doppelganger in a gag book felt like a waste, and I wanted to include that Komachi part I talked about, so I ended up changing it. To be blunt, I think that earlier version might've made for a cleaner book. Well, in the end, the biggest reason was that I felt reluctance towards sacrificing a named Touhou character, even just the doppelganger.

Next up, as mentioned, I'm planning to release my Marisa+Sumireko book at Autumn Reitaisai or Kouroumu or something. But really, I'm starting to run low on time once more, so I might have to shorten it due to the hurry again... Or rather, I think my illusion of productive energy is really wavering this year. To be frank, I'm just really busy at work! I thought I'd be sick for half a year! My body was sick with all its might! I even lost my voice for a while! Well then, I hope we can meet again.

Afterword This is my 31st book. Zounose here. I was planning to draw something about Marisa and the two servants, but I just couldn't get it done no matter how I tried, so I did something different. That book will probably come out at some Autumn event. As for the Marshmallow Test... This past June I learned about the Stanford prison experiment from news that new facts had come to light. There's a lot of really interesting stuff about the prison experiment including these new facts, so do look into it if you're curious.
