Greetings, I'm the one called Hirasaka Makoto.
This is the third book of Little Stone Heart.
So, I was originally planning to finish in this third book, but in the end, it's going to be one more. You may have been able to tell from that ending there, but it's going to get a little more serious towards the end.
I've only been drawing lighthearted stories lately, so thinking of something more serious has been surprisingly challenging. It's been dragging on without much in the way of resolution, but I think the story is just about finished. I'll be publishing the final part at the next Reitaisai, so look forward to it.
In this part the Three Fairies, Kokoro and Koishi split into teams, but I couldn't stop worrying whether Kokoro's pair should be Sunny or Star... (sweat)
In the end, I decided that Sunny was better suited for this sort of role, so I calmed down.
By the way, about the "Guu-Paa" game they played to choose the teams. When I was a kid, we'd always shout "Ura to Omote" when we played that, but I suddenly started wondering if that was just a local thing, and as it turns out, that shout really is only used where I grew up.
I figured people from elsewhere might not get what it meant, so I adopted a more easily understandable shout used in Nagano. What did you all use to split up teams?
In any case, as you can see on that other page there, the Three Fairies got a new series in Comp Ace! We're planning to publish not monthly, but about every three months.
The new title will be "Touhou Sangetsusei ~ Visionary Fairies in Shrine". The first chapter will be published January 26th next year and every three months from then on. It really feels like a new Three Fairies story, so make sure to check it out!
Well then, I hope we can meet over my next work.
