Artist's commentary
Oriental Sunset
Guess who was playing with her lovely Russian watercolours and aquarelle masking fluid again. imhappyplz I just love these watercolours. I think I'll hardly touch any other medium in a while. I have an unfinished acrylic painting of a certain fiery bird pokemon as well as a very colourful and detailed coloured pencil work. X)
But this time it was Haku the Dragon -fanart time! I love Spirited Away and I've wanted to draw Haku for a long time now. Yesterday I had a huge urge to paint a dragon so I picked Haku as my victim.
I am very pleased how this turned out. My mediums work perfectly and even my scanner did good job! Heart
Ihad very much fun with this. Love
The title is the most creative ever but it's the only one beside "Haku the Dragon" so deal with it, will you. (Also, I know Haku doesn't have that much fur on his tail but it was too nice to paint that mane so I got carried away and forgot to cut it out... Oh well. I doesn't look that bad anyway, does it?)
Anyway, I hope you like it! :) (Smile)
