*信貴山縁起 (Shigisan-engi) "Legend of Mount Shigi". A picture scroll from the late Heian era, one of the four great scrolls. Consists of the 'Scroll of Yamazaki', which tells the tale of Myouren who trained on Mount Shigi and restored the temple there in the mid-Heian, the 'Scroll of an Engi Era Faith Healing' and 'The Scroll of the Nun'.
