Do you have freestyle?
A meme originated from the new music talent show The Rap of China, much like the renowned The Voice of China. Unlike The Voice of China where participants must try to impress industry connected mentors with musical performance in order to become a professional, this show focuses on hip-hop and rap music only, has judges instead of mentors, and the successful participants will gain monetary prizes instead of professional help.
One of the judges is Chinese-Canadian Kris Wu, and he literally asked every single participants if they "have freestyle to perform." Regardless of gender or age of the participant, he either starts his assessment with this question, or ends with this. Viewers of the show found this amusing, and a meme was thus born.
