1. Lit. translation: to melt. (Tororo) 2. Flesh obtained from Tuna fish belly area. Slightly fatty, tender and juicy. There's Ootoro, which taken from along the ribcage area, Kama-toro which taken behind the gill covering, and Chu-toro which is taken from the stomach area where the ribs ends up until the dorsal fin.
