Flan's basic color is red, but I try for more of a wine-red instead of just RED!
It's still cute, but adds a more adult feeling to the mix.I like to draw ZUN-hats big, big enough for the head to fit in cleanly. I think it's cute.Went all-out with it and decided to put her in mary-janes. Personally, I think they go great with three-fold socks.By varying the tempo of the spines(?) of her wings, you can create a feeling of depth. Both Remi and Flan wear designs with open backs. I feel that frills stick out best when they're limited to specific amounts in specific placesI designed her vest to have a frill-like pattern.
Making the frills on her skirt red instead of white brings out a feeling of maturity.Flan-chan with her hair down. (This needs to be more popular.)
Her hair reaches around to a bit above her waist.Just kidding, ZUN-hats are poofy all around, and the frillier you draw them the better (and sharper) they look. The wings start stretching out here, around her waist. It's easiest if you start drawing here, at the poofiest part.I like to draw the tip of Flan's side-ponytail curly. It shouldn't be too short or too long. You can change how long it looks with different approaches.
