World View/Outlook About 40 years after “Strike Witches.” Even after the great war, humanity has continued to encounter on numerous occasions the menace of the mechanical army known as "Neuroi". The sole force that can equal and surpass the fighting power of the Neuroi is the strong power of the Witches, according to the intellect/wisdom of humanity. In August, 1990, three massive Neuroi nests appeared in the airspace above the Arabian Peninsula governed by the “United Kingdom of Jazeera.” The country/region was overrun by the Neuroi despite frantic resistance, and world’s most productive oil fields were captured. As many lives were mercilessly lost, and the world was again threatened by the menace of the Neuroi, peoples from many countries and regions joined forces, and the multinational allied army was formed. The witches formed the vanguard of the army. To liberate the Arabian Peninsula, and protect the world, they would unleash their fierce fighting power again. Setting The wealthy, oil producing country of the “United Kingdom of Jazeera” controls the entirety of the Arabian Peninsula region. The geography is based on that of “Strike Witches Horizons”
