It was around then that the 'Shipgirls' were finally committed to the war.The enemy in the territorial waters were wiped out; and any enemy left on the land was mopped up using aerial bombardment.Then, by the time the Shipgirls were also thrown into live battle, be it land or sea, we were falling short on troops. It only made sense that restoration of the navy's military strength was the top priority, right?And so, because of some kind twist of fate...
