So I've been working on the toy wiki and its related articles, and I keep debating as to what constitutes a toy. Obviously I've included traditional toys to the list, but I have questions as to the nature of certain items. I've left the below out of the wiki for now. Any additions or debatable removals from the wiki's list would help as well.
- boomerang: Dubious about this one because it's often portrayed as a weapon, not a toy.
- video_game: Yes, it's designed for amusement, but it doesn't cross my mind as a toy like traditional toys do.
- innertube, wading_pool, beachball, rubber_duck: Would aquatic items count as toys?
- hula_hoop: It can be a toy by definition, but the images I see are mostly for rhythmic_gymnastics or for the hooped weapon used by Tira.
- jump_rope: Same gymnastics issue as hula hoop.
- crayon: Referring to the object and in-image drawings made out of crayon (like in post #579702), not the form of traditional media used to draw the entire image. There aren't many images for the crayon traditional_media search, but it'd help if there was a crayon_(medium) tag to coincide with colored_pencil_(medium), watercolor_(medium) and such.
- sticker: Just not sure of this one.
- Any type of skates like roller skates or ice skates. Are they for fun, or for a sport?
- Are there any tags for Play-Doh or similar doughy substances?
