Is there an option for Pools to list pools in order of new/updated to old like on the old site? It makes keeping track easier.

I would also love to see a function to order the pool list by name, post count and update.

Pools > Search > Order: Last updated
It's pretty out of the way; I think it should be the default listing instead of order by name.

Translation Note system is gone/broken. Can't add new notes. Older pics that already had notes no longer have them; what was on them is now all smushed together in text on the bottom of the page, beneath the "Text Body" box, which is particularly horribad for manga/doujinshi pages. Please restore the original Note system ASAP.

Works fine for me (latest Firefox). Which browser are you on and does it work if you try a different browser?

Windows not quite wide enough are line breaking for me.

For what It's worth, if you're using Firefox & Stylish. I put together a few CSS rules that fix this, and change some of the styles to be (what I think are) closer to the old Danbooru.

Might break some things, I don't know, put it together pretty fast but they're just minor changes, and probably only temporary as things are changed and fixed as Albert updates.

Updated

Change is never easy. I think is just a matter of time and team work to make this new version better and functional. I see a lot of people crying outloud "Lets go back!" or "why not leave it like it was before the weekend?".
Like albert said, incoming days are gonna be tough but in the mean time we all can help by pointing at what is working and what not. Not with the intention of getting things as they were, but from the point of view of make things work.
I'm sure that, once everything is working correctly Danbooru 2.0 will be a very good starting point for new features.

IMO some of the changes feel like a bit of fresh air, even if they might not be necesary, nor add functionality.

Now for a couple of reports:
1. The "remember" option is a bit odd. Whats exactly the intention of it?
2. Vote Up/Down is broke.
3. The "resize" option is a must.

I apologize for my english.

You might want to stop using 7-year-old browsers.

If you need to use IE for some reason upgrade to a newer version. Otherwise use Firefox or Chrome. I don't get the issues you describe in the latest versions of any of those three.

Is there any other way to edit tags on an actual image (not the drop-down item from the index listing) without having to scroll down to the bottom of the page?

Also, while trying to find an artist for a pixiv url, it kept returning "too many matches."

And how does one now change a general tag to an artist tag?

I still don't see how... Hold on, vocab failure. Um...

OLD MODE: Transparent yellowy boxes that, when mouse-hovered over, displayed text (which was typed in by a note-adding person, and edited by clicking the transparent box); placing a new one involved clicking "Add Translation", moving the box where it needs to go, adjusting its size, and then typing in the note.

NEW MODE: No transparent boxes, no note-adding, old notes appear as smushed-together text beneath a page's "Text Body" box.

Why is this a thing? I don't see how the Old and New Modes could cause such a dramatic (and very bad) change just from an old Browser.

I do like the idea of separating tags by type, but the way it's done just seems a little clunky. Since tags are colored based on type, it would make more sense to me to just have a double linebreak intead of labeling them. The labels just make for visual clutter, when it would otherwise be pretty apparent what the individual sections are for.

I'm not saying these changes are bad necessarily. It's just that certain aspects of the new version aren't flowing as smoothly. Naturally it's our job as users to review and critique in order to improve. The critiques will especially come in a barrage during a totally brand new change. I don't expect the improvements to happen instantly, but I hope they happen eventually.

On that note, I wanted to mention one more thing I'd like to see come back. The Pixiv source URL for each image directed to the actual Pixiv page in a separate tab in the old version. I used this feature all the time to use Pixiv tags and find pics to upload. In this version, I now have to manually open a new tab every time I want to do a Pixiv tag search, since I can't type Japanese. Without the automatic new tab feature, this means more fussing around to open tabs every single time I want to go to the Pixiv page.

Perhaps a minor inconvenience and I need to get used to the manual new tab format, but I used the auto new tabs ALL the time.

If you can be more specific I will try to bring back what I can. It may just be a case of me overlooking something.

Mountains of wasted space for Widescreen users. Horrible Font decisions for the sidebars. Pointlessly segregating tags after we already have the color system

The rather DUMB position for pool listing Making it a banner made it much more distinct and easier to navigate than making it look like just another tag. And why is Pools now buried in "More>>" while the rather less useful Notes, which to me displays as 2 rows of 8, yet again showing just how random the layout for images is it seems to be.

The fact that this is being a 'test' and just how many mountains of bugs coming up really makes me wonder if this being rushed out is a good idea

Why this is so delayed is because of constant downtime.

tl;dr: Layout Change for the Sake of change is rarely a good idea.

Edit: I've not even tried to upload or tag things considering how unstable things are. Also 'Sample' sizes tend to be completely broken now.

Edit: I'm getting a feeling this is going from "This is going to be a finished product" To "This is being a Test" as a way of attempting damage control on a disastrous upgrade,

Updated

any chance to to get the tags split up over more than one line (in the raw page) like it used to be... it makes processing the tags a far more frustrating task... not to mention I wonder if a single line that long is compliant for all major browsers. I thought it would have been even more nicely formatted when I saw the pages, but that whole tag block is 3 lines... the first being section and the 3rd being /section ...

None of the other sections are like that.. they all look how they used to be, nicely formatted.

Voting on posts works for me. And I think voting on comments works as well.

You type artist:name. You used to be able to type that or art:name as a shortcut, but the latter appears to be gone for some reason.

I am not a web developer, so I cannot tell you exactly what broke. But I can tell you that using old software is generally a bad idea. Do you have some reason to not upgrade?

Why can't you just middle click the link? Or if you don't have a middle mouse button, right click > Open Link in New Tab?

That said, I don't see a reason why the automatic new tab shouldn't be brought back.

The point is, some things had no need to be fixed in the first place. For example, UI.

For what it's worth, I personally love both the tag segregation and the new pool listing above the tags. That's just my opinion, but I'd love to see these two changes kept.

I do, however, agree with the last point in that pools should perhaps be put back up on the top navigation.

I'll also agree with some previous statements that the option to view the pool list in various orders would be quite useful.

/late because downtime but I wanted to throw in my two cents
