However, when it comes to tags, futa are treated as their own gender. I guess I should also ask about hermaphrodites.

Oh, in that case just leave it off the count as neutrals I suppose. I'm not really an expert...

If I see an image of two girls and a very feminine futa together, I would expect it to be tagged 2girls and 3girls simultaneously.

The more inclusive, the better.

Huh, I just always group a "dickgirl"* futa into the *girls tags. Still not yuri, though.

*By which I mean "junk aside, it's a girl".

1girl 1boy are pointless tags. We already have "female" "male" and "solo". So either we get rid of "female" "male" and "solo", or we don't use "1girl" "1boy".

The tags are redundant.

These aren't replacements or supplements for those tags. Unlike solo or -male/-female, these tags aren't exclusive of other genders, so they can find specific gender ratios. An example Hinacle mentioned earlier in the thread being a non-couple related image with 1boy and 1girl.

It's also worth noting that we don't actually use the female tag.

Just tagging male where appropriate is much more needed than added female, especially since the overlap with other tags would make it rather useless.
