Technically, this is an unfair rule. If you're allowed call something bad quality and should need to go, why can't we?

Technically this is how we roll. Suck it up, or go somewhere else.

Really, "quality" can't be measured, it's a personal concept.
I don't know, but to me it's clearly.

Life, and danbooru, are not fair.

Look, I've vociferously disagreed with Haduki on any number of occasions, but this piling on him over a collection of really shitty and painfully unfunny (though honestly, most fan 4komas aren't funny...) 4komas is just ridiculous.

albert spoke, and albert's decisions override everything else, so this discussion is over.

A big part have agreed, in case you haven't noticed. And practically nobody is objecting to calling the art bad. Which is exactly why they fall short of the quality we normally require.

"quality we normally require." Yeah, all the porn that I see when I searched for "uncensored" is high quality.
And what would happen if some members decided that something here that you like is unfunny? I think we should have the right to delete things too. :)

Given that Albert weighed in on the side to keep this discussions, rather definitely to me, so can this thread be locked?

There is no more reason for this to continue. Mistakes were made, and they have been fixed so the issue can safely die now.

Rights? What the hell kind of rights would we give a person who just registered today and is continuing to argue in a discussion that is over? If you want rights, the least you could do is have been around before this whole thing happened and contribute to the site.

No need to be aggressive. In my opinion, that rule in this case does not hold up. If you argue that there is too much bad art on Danbooru. Then wouldn't it be a case of removing the art that the vast majority of Danbooru finds to be terrible quality? Wouldn't you start from the bottom?

This is my opinion and you have the right to ignore or respect at your leisure.

If the conversation is over then I'll delete this post. I'm not so good at reading atmospheres.

I think the argument of quality is somewhat moot. Obviously that's a opinionated matter, and it essentially comes down to the viewer in question. Same goes for the humor. I've found Rifyu's 4koma series to be somewhat entertaining and comedic, and there have been some I didn't really care for.

To delete them on the basis of poor quality and "not being funny" strikes me somewhat odd and as though there is a lot more bias going into that decision. I've seen far worse stay up, but I digress, that's not the matter here.

I say you leave it up to the people.

You're treading on dangerous ground here. I was being nice and understanding, but if you choose blatantly to ignore rules I've reminded everyone of in the first post here, I might stop.

I didn't become a mod by accident. Invest the shitload of hours I've spent on improving danbooru to the best of my ability, and we'll talk.

Yeah, works so well for Gelbooru... oh wait.

Bring the quality issue up in the comments or pay $20 and flag bad art to your heart's content. Complaining about mods having extra rights is outright retarded.

This is getting off-topic. If you have a serious issue with a moderator, just bring it up somewhere official, like to Albert or something.

My issue wasn't that the work was good or bad but how it was conducted. The issue was stressed and we've dealt with that since its undeleted.

THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO CRITICIZE WHY THEY WERE DELETED ORIGINALLY.
