cup_ramen doesn't always show the noodles, so a cup_ramen -> noodles implication wouldn't be correct. Since ramen would implicate noodles that would also prevent a cup_ramen -> ramen implication.
It's best anyway to think of the cup_ramen as tagging the styrofoam cup and not the actually noodles or content of the cup.
Would we still refer to the one's that come in a bowl as "cup_ramen" (post #421696) or would a more general tag like instant_ramen be better? Though instant_ramen itself may cause the problem of making one think of the noodles and not the container.
I generally think of "instant_ramen" or "instant_noodles" as the sort that comes in a packet, usu. packs of 5, rather than a cup or bowl.
