There are also a lot of bridal gauntlet tags that can probably be implying their respective glove tags too if this BUR passes.

white bridal gauntlets
see-through bridal gauntlets
red bridal gauntlets
purple bridal gauntlets
brown bridal gauntlets
blue bridal gauntlets

lace-trimmed bridal gauntlets
cow print bridal gauntlets
I'm hesitant to call post #8689770 sleeves - those are definitely gloves, and definitely styled after bridal gauntlets (as per her original outfit). At best, most of our posts reflect bridal gauntlets being similar to elbow gloves.

Some of them look more like gloves yes, but a lot of them function and look more like sleeves, just secured around a finger.

There is a wikiless bridal sleeves tag with 14 posts, maybe we could repurpose it for loose sleeve-like bridal "gauntlets" and leave bridal gauntlets for the skintight ones, including the ones that look like elbow gloves

Sleeves with finger holes don't wrap around the hand. Bridal gauntlets do.
Bridal gauntlets most often only cover the top of the hand, so they don't wrap around either.

I more meant they're designed to cover some of the hand, whereas sleeves are not. Perhaps I worded it poorly.
They follow more the definition of gauntlet that only covers the back of the hand, which is more comparable to bracers/arm guards/vambraces/manifers made of fabric, like detached sleeves that only cover the lower arm but are kept in place with a ring. No change needed.
They are also not sleeves because sometimes they are short and small like gloves. They might not even be mutually exclusive for the same piece of clothing, but the tag helps indicate the 'style' of handwear (the parts around the finger and the general appearance). The wiki suggests they are not always the same length, but of course they're usually pretty long like a sleeve.

I think calling them gloves just because they go over a single finger is bein pedantic.
No opinion either way, but should note if you're actually trying to buy these in the real world you'll find that they're normally called and categorized as a type of fingerless glove.
If we go the route of differentiating them from gloves we'll need to make sure there are appropriate bridal gauntlet tags that mirror the glove versions, and should also be a tag to be able to find the short versions of bridal gauntlets.

Maybe change the BUR to imply fingerless glove then?

I think it should imply partially fingerless gloves in that case

Partially fingerless gloves mean that the glove at least covers the ends of some fingers, the vast majority of bridal gauntlets do not cover the ends of any fingers which would make them match with fingerless gloves. This though does bring up that it's not necessarily guaranteed that bridal gauntlets can't be partially fingerless in rare instances such as post #6953187 where they do completely cover the middle finger.

Those are the only versions I would consider gloves if anything.
Don't these only cover the back of the hand though? And even then not much of it. I'd consider it to be a glove if it at least covered some of the palm (like fingerless gloves), which it doesn't seem to.
