Some things happened and it's beyond 12 hours

Anyways this is the same logic as like. Tagging Alex Murphy whenever you see Robocop. Bruce Wayne or Batman. It's a completely separate case from something like M16A1 and M16A1 (boss), where that's not a separate personality- that's just her but the enemy now.

Lucy and Nyuu are separate identities and persons in a way different from any of those examples. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I'll be rejecting this BUR.

There's actually a number of differences, but by the end of the manga, you wouldn't think that after the way both of them developed.

For starters, Nyuu did not exist until a later stage in Lucy's life- therefore, any aged down depictions of the character are always Lucy and not Nyuu.

Lucy's demeanor and Nyuu's are very different, allowing one to interpret "who is awake right now?" fairly easily (Serial killer vs poor little meow meow).

Lastly, these two are basically twins as far as tagging should be concerned.

Nuance isn't going to mean much when it comes to tagging discussions. The main point, as I once learned while justifying a BUR from the same kind of textual circumstance, should be visually whether or not they look similar and if there's any actual point in keeping the tags separate. If they look similar, it should be aliased. If not, then the chartags should be showing a significant enough change in the character's appearance on posts.

Relevant examples: topic #28319, topic #29647, forum #295707 (this one is the exact same case as yours, a "aggressive" vs "passive" mindset thing, but that is purely a text difference and therefore doesn't need any tag distinction)
