Lofter Issues

After 3 months, I finally found a way to access and scroll the full artist page on Lofter without an account (Thanks, random Zerochan artist link). It’s like the “adding /view to the end of the URL” trick but the change is more complicated. The interface is a bit more difficult to navigate than the usual one, but maybe someone will need it, me included.

Example URL: http://shiraving.lofter.com/ —> https://www.lofter.com/front/blog/home-page/shiraving

That's what Knowledge_Seeker and I were referring to in forum #272883 and forum #278040, it's the link for the mobile view.
EDIT: I didn't know about the arrows at the bottom, thanks!

Updated

I recently started hitting up against another issue with Lofter.
In the past, with uMatrix blocking the redirect scripts, I was able to right click and open images in a new tab, with various parameters like "?imageView&thumbnail=1680x0&quality=96" and so on, which added a watermark and gave a downscaled preview, but by removing those options I could get the full-size original. Now, it seems I can no longer do that on some images.

For example, this post has the first image work, but not the second. I can get to the first image's preview, and I can get a seemingly-original version too.
But while I can open the second image, changing any of the options gives a 403 error. I'm not 100% sure if these links will work for others, given referrer issues, but I think they will.

Anyone know what's going on here, any workarounds, and so on?

Aaaand now Lofter's giving me the login wall on individual posts too. Still doesn't seem to work on mobile though and the bookmarklet still works (so as long as I have a link, I can still upload), but that's really worrying, to put it mildly.

I've been getting this too but it looks like Danbooru can fetch the original size anyway somehow? For this pic I can only access the 4.82mb 1680x1980 preview but the uploader got the 8.93mb 2567x3024 version post #7867797. Now if Danbooru could disclose how their magic workss

Popuko: Ah yes I understand everything now (I'm not a programmer)

Understandable, but I'm afraid the knowledge of how Danbooru extracts the source image isn't of much use to you in that case anyway, as someone would have to implement *something* with it for it to be useful.

Made an account just to mention this:
Individual post links still appear to be accessible in mobile web browsers. I found this out when I tried it on a whim, since using links in desktop web browsers still boot me to the login page.

Unfortunately, a lot of mobile web browsers don't have a built-in translator, I had to use the Chrome app to be able to read anything. Also, so far it seems like a coin toss whether or not it shows the top comments, and it appears that you need an account to view all comments.

Make of that what you will, and I hope this advice helps.

So I can use mobile view to access a page, lofter tag workaround script to view posts of a tag, but sometimes I'll still be hit by the 403 error when trying to view or save originals.
Anyone know a better way to download these?

Thank you very much.
For others, after you got the link for individual post (example:https://congqianyouzhilihuamao.lofter.com/post/1f2e98f5_2bb478505), put it in the address bar. Don't run it yet.
Open Dev console with F12, then click 'Toggle Device' on top left. It will made your chrome to emulate a mobile.
For better experience, change dock to separate window.
Chrome's web translate work fine.
For window size, you can change it however you want.

Everyone, tag page works completely fine in emulated chrome.

Thank you, again, @wizard-finix.

It seems visiting individual post from tag page doesn't work. But it will also show you the individual post link in the address bar, so it's just a bit of hassle to decode it.
Here, for those who may be confused: https://www.url-encode-decode.com/
Put the link beside "https://uls.lofter.com/?h5url=_THIS_LINK_" and decode it with that site. It will give you the link for individual post.
EXAMPLE:
https://uls.lofter.com/?h5url=https%3A%2F%2Flueluewuwa.lofter.com%2Fpost%2F7799ca16_2bc2f95eb
Encoded link,
https%3A%2F%2Flueluewuwa.lofter.com%2Fpost%2F7799ca16_2bc2f95eb
Decoded link,

Are you referring to images or the post themselves?
For images, you can use Ctrl+Shift+C and float your cursor above the images you want to save and click it. It will show you its element and the source link.
Example, <img height="164" width="164" src="https://imglf3.lf127.net/img/55c73fcd233667c0/K0tKL0RwejcweDJtcll6WHlYR1ZLb2VmWmRoU0RmS09SRFBpVHRmcXZoYz0.jpg?imageView=&amp;thumbnail=164x164&amp;enlarge=1&amp;quality=90&amp;type=jpg">
The source:
https://imglf3.lf127.net/img/55c73fcd233667c0/K0tKL0RwejcweDJtcll6WHlYR1ZLb2VmWmRoU0RmS09SRFBpVHRmcXZoYz0.jpg

Then you can just Ctrl+S.

For ease, there's this script:
https://pastebin.com/0aRaE04N
Just right-click the image you want from the work-around 'gallery' tab and it will open the source file of the image.

Has anyone tried to create an account? I wanted to create one because navigation has become extremely painful with their new policy, but when I click on the "register" button it'll just redirect me to the login page. It looks like it's not possible to sign up anymore? I tried to look it up but I couldn't find anyone talking about this.

@magcolo
I was successful in making account through making a WeChat account prior to the lofter one and simply using that to log in.

I also told others on the Danbooru discord server to do this and most of them were successful.

My personal issue with Lofter though is that I can never find much things I want to post.
Searching for similar content to what you do find seems pretty hard.

If anyone finds any Bara, golden kamuy or dungeon meshi artists on there please lemme know (especially ones that draw Senshi of course).

But from my own searching it feels like the Bara/yaoi community on there is going instinct sadly. Unlike Weibo where I can find lots of stuff because people reblog a ton and the "likes" feature helps too.

As someone not on the Discord server (and am going to assume plenty others who are browsing this thread aren't either), may I ask how to make an account for WeChat? Could be my exhaustion talking, but the few articles I've seen talking about it mention it's notably complicated (as expected in my failed attempts to sign up for Weibo to get around the Lofter block). But if WeChat works, I'll take anything at this point.

WeChat was extremely easy for me, you will need to download the app onto your phone but after that sign-up is straightforward and in English.

The uls links are actually supported by danbooru since May, see issue #5728 on github. You can paste them into the upload page and it will be able to pull the post and convert it into the normal link.
