Animal Ear Headwear Implications

These tags all directly refer to fake animal ears in some way or another unlike, say, animal helmet (where such an implication request is a horrible idea) in their description. So therefore, I think it would make sense for them to implicate fake animal ears.

Also, trying to make animal ear hairband a thing, as there are many hairbands featuring, say, rabbit ears (post #6967730), mouse ears (post #6950560), or ever deer ears for the festive season (post #6981741). These are all fake animal ears on hairbands, so wouldn't it make sense to want to search for that a la animal ear headphones? Implying the already existing and somewhat populated cat ear hairband to animal ear hairband would only then be a next logical step, and perhaps pave the way for other varieties like a possible rabbit ear hairband tag (especially for all the bunnygirls I found...)? I think it's a good idea at least.

I just want to point out that rabbit ear hairband could potentially have as many as ~70k posts: see bunnysuit rabbit_ears. Even bunnysuit rabbit_ears -hairband is mostly untagged hairbands.

But evazion first floated this idea in forum #185868 so if someone ask just blame it on him :^)

Also, admittedly, given that so many posts are missing hairband maybe it's not a bad idea to have an intuitive tag that pulls it when tagged. Feel free to populate it and request for an implication I suppose.

It doesn't seem right to implicate fake_animal_ears to animal_ear_headwear if the hat is sewn to cover actual animal ears, such as with Yakumo Ran and Mari_(blue_archive). To me it sounds like a more fitting tag than animal_hat which is currently the tag describing Ran's hat as mentioned in topic #22685.

The animal ear headwear tag is for hats with fake animal ears. Back in the topic you linked I moved Ran's posts to animal hat because of that.

It's true however that our distinction is strenuous at best, and I remarked as such when I moved those posts. I temporarily moved the animal_ear_headwear yakumo_ran posts to animal hat because that's where most of her posts are until we work out what all these tags are actually for, but we'll have to remove these implications because people are still going to tag characters with animal ears with animal ear headwear if they're wearing a hat, and having fake animal ears in those posts, while being technically correct (as the hat does have fake ears), is also factually dumb.

Rabbit ear hairband tag created, populated a bit, and so hopefully if these go through, give all those bunnygirl hairbands a proper home, knowing how common they are.
