Tag discussion: blush_stickers

I noticed this new tag made by ziiv. While I have nothing against having a tag for the specific concept, just that blush_stickers doesn't seem very obvious. I don't know if that is the actually name for it, but I think using something like blush_oval/blush_ovals would be clearer and more recognizable when glancing over the tags.

Rosy cheeks was suggested near the end of forum #21113.

Is there any argument for implicating to blush? The two concepts seem distinct; the ovals are mostly an aspect of character design or a conventionalism of the super-deformed style.

Rosy cheeks is too ambiguous and doesn't convey the unnatural form of the "blush". Not really sure about "blush sticker", though, but at least that's not a common phrase.

I like blush_ovals better, but neither sounds particularly good.

iconic_blush, perhaps? stylized_blush?

I rather like the term blush_stickers. It's the first description for this phenomenon that made me think of the right thing straight away.

I can get behind blush_stickers as well, and would note that even though it's not immediately obvious to someone new, it's intuitive in the sense that it's very easy to learn. Contrast with zettai_ryouiki and payot (the latter of which I cannot remember consistently, and would not even understand were I not living with an anthropologist. Why did we go with that?).

Blush stickers works for me. Tangentially related, I don't think rosy cheeks should be a tag, unless it just replaces blush. There's just too much overlap between the two terms that even if there were one or two characters that can somewhat reliably be said to have rosy cheeks and not a blush, I don't think it's worth it.

Off topic, is there an alternative term to payot? I had no idea what that was and I'll almost certainly never remember to tag it (although zettai_ryouiki is something I never forget). I'd like a term that was slightly more intuitive if one exists...

Eh, I'm okay with blush_stickers too, even though it's not great. Mostly because I don't see any alternative that just jumps out as particularly good.
