Deleting your own post?

Posted under General

Is there a way to delete a post you yourself made? I was working through an uploads binder and accidentally uploaded something that should not have been in that folder. I could get the commissioner to make a DMCA, but I don't want to trouble them, and that would prevent the upload from ever being made in the future. So to bypass this, is there a way to delete your own posts?

If you're talking about your status:pending posts, they'll turn status:deleted if no one approves them after three days.

If you're talking about permanently deleting posts from the site, that's something that rarely happens and only admins can do.

If you're talking about banning non rule breaking posts, then the artist has to submit a DMCA request.

But I guess you're talking about banning post #6605767? It looks like a paid reward. Approvers and above can ban paid rewards.

Could make it so you can only delete (like expunge) your own post within X minutes/hours of uploading it; the media asset would still be available (for now), of course. That way you'd have a small window to undo mistakes, for cases where the site doesn't prevent you from making a mistake. So long as that isn't abused.

It's an archive the valid reasons are so miniscule and can be cleaned up by mods and approvers so there is no reason for such functionality.

Now the ability to delete assests on the other hand would be appreciated.
