Do we have a tag for the reverse situation of the contemporary tag (which is for characters not from modern settings being depicted in modern settings)? Like, when characters from a modern setting are depicted in a fantasy (as is the case here) or at the very least not at all modern setting? I feel like that's a concept people would want to search for.

All I could really find is alternate universe as a broad concept and anachronism for objects rather than people.

Yes. Posts like that should never have been tagged furry to begin with; it's part of the reason the new tag was created.

I can't speak for everyone, but I don't think there's any harm in doing so. Seeing as it can now be blacklisted, disallowing this would only make it harder for users to search within these posts.
