How do I tag this?

While tagging post #4792035, I noticed that the asmr tag is fairly populated both here and on Pixiv, but doesn't have a wiki here. What is this tag supposed to represent? The actual autonomous sensory meridian response popularized by YouTube, or the devices responsible for it? For all I can tell, it looks to be referring to a binaural microphone affixed to a dummy head.

I'd say it represents someone doing ASMR so naturally it will involve a lot of binaural microphones and dummy heads.

Some of the posts aren't doing it though, like post #4265745, post #4556703 or post #4661967. All I see are girls in sensual poses, and that's nothing new here. Maybe there's something I'm missing since I'm not into the whole virtual Youtuber thing, but I fail to see how this isn't redundant when at least binaural microphone basically covers the same thing, sometimes throwing in a dummy or similar prop. At least post #4603304, post #4131126 and post #3740565 specifically refer to ASMR in text, but that's the only use I see for the asmr tag.

Do/should we have a bon-odori tag? I'm pretty sure that's the dance they're doing in post #2446817, for example.

We could generalize it into a festival_dance tag. That'd have a bit more coverage and wouldn't require someone to be able to identify exactly and be sure it was the bon festival being referenced (as opposed to other Japanese festivals that also feature dancing).

The first two has a link in the commentary that leads to a ASMR content on DLsite, the third just leads to a YouTube channel so it was probably used as the thumbnail for an ASMR video or something, not sure if those should be tagged with ASMR though.

I didn't read the commentary for those posts, mainly because I'm not fluent enough in Japanese to understand it. ASMR can certainly refer to the acronym like the last three examples I posted. Those involving microphones or audio equipment of any type should just be tagged with those devices, with no reference to ASMR. As far as posts functioning as links to ASMR videos go, I find that way too vague for it to be useful to those who can't understand the commentary.

Fair enough! Created the tag, and I'll see if I can add it to any other posts.

Help on determining which tag would apply to her hair, hair_pulled_back or hair_slicked_back?

Also, does the tag high_collar apply for armor as well?

Not sure about hair, going by the wiki definitions alone it seems to be hair_pulled_back, but I think that hair_slicked_back fits too in this case. Personally, I think that you can add both of them, that's what I sometimes do when I can't decide between two tags that both seem to apply.

The high_collar thing is doubtful. I did find examples of it being used for armored collars, but they are fairly rare and wiki makes it look like it's for cloth only. Better to add gorget.

For the record, I've also found armored_collar, but it's underpopulated and has no definition.

And I have few questions too.

post #4591734 - do we have a tag for those stylized glasses on her head?

post #4771275 - their upper body is blurry/out of focus. I've added depth_of_field for now, but I'm not sure about it. Also, since lower body (particularly ass) is in focus while upper body is not, would ass_focus apply?
