(For your post #2629635) I would've thought that streaked_hair applied as well here because the majority of Shirou's hair is red with only a small part being white which is in line with its wiki definition. Also the hair streak looks short (like in post #2617617) which would vary from the "normal" hair streak.

For post #2626441 are those gauntlets or vambraces? I thought vambraces because the armour appears separate from the clothing on her hands.

One side up = a small portion of the hair tied up on one side, with the rest down loose. Looks like two side up but only tied on one side.
Side ponytail = looks like a ponytail but tied on the side or like half a twintails hairstyle. Should involve most or all of the hair, or at least virtually all the hair on that side of the head.

Using examples from KanColle:
Side ponytail:
Kaga (kantai collection)
Kasumi (kantai collection)
Yura (kantai collection) (sometimes drawn as a regular ponytail)
Akebono (kantai collection)
Nachi (kantai collection)
Ayanami (kantai collection)
Harusame (kantai collection)

One side up:
Hiryuu (kantai collection)
Nagara (kantai collection)
Hagikaze (kantai collection)

This needs some serious tag gardening and isn't helped by the fact that some characters with one side up hairstyles state that they are side ponytails in their wiki pages, like Takanashi Rikka or Hagikaze (kantai collection). Nor the fact that Flandre Scarlet is given as an example of side ponytail when she's at best a really poor example and worst outright misleading as I'd tag most of her images with one side up.

It's on my list of things to sort out sooner or later but it's really low down so there's a chance I'll never actually get to it, so if someone else wants to take a gander at it then feel free.

This post is going to be rather long winded, so I won't be offended if it goes unanswered.
My apologies in advance.

Various questions that arouse while tagging hitomaruniigo's Nepdora and her rather unique outfit.
Hopefully some tag pages can be made clearer as a result of this.
As there is much overlap, I will just pose the majority of questions about the first post, and then answer any more that come up as I go post to post.
Hopefully this will end up being a good exercise for taggers.

  • There is currently no headdress page. Does this count as a head dress, or is it merely a headband with ornaments attached? What about later pictures that don't have such ornaments?
  • The Tag hair rings refers to hair looped into rings, and says to tag rings in hair as ring hair_ornament. However, the ring page describes rings as being worn on the finger.
Arms:
  • I would think that an armband would be flat and wide, and an armlet narrow and thick, however the wiki pages seem to imply that armlets are a type of jewelry, and armbands a ring of cloth pinned to one's sleeve. What do we call what Nepdora wears on her bicep in the upper left?
  • How should I tag what she is wearing on her elbows?
Top:
  • Do we have a tag for nipple coverings hanging from what is essentially a necklace? I have a vague memory of Mamizou wearing an outfit that covered her breasts similar to this, but with note pads, though I think I might've just imagined it. Note that the design of this changes in later pictures.
  • What article of clothing does this sort of top fall under?
Waist:
  • What do you call a garment that only wraps around the stomach?
  • Does this count as a loincloth, or should she be considered bottomless?
  • Do we have a tag for straps of cloth (or otherwise long ropelike objects) that hang down the back like tails?
Legs:
  • Do we have a tag for detached pant legs?
  • Does sheer legwear have to be skintight?
Feet:
  • Is there a tag for calf sandals like the ones in the bottom right?

Numbering left to right 1-5, 1 is roundhouse kick, 1 and 4 are high_kick while 4 is also splits. No idea about the others.

There doesn't seem to be a foot brace tag so no idea. No to barefoot, though.
