Isn't the problem here only that their series qualifier is needlessly long / that they don't have unambiguous names?

That is indeed the primary problem.

I offered the luna_(human), sharuru_(human), etc. tags as alternatives to the series qualifiers because I saw how lengthy those tags would be. But the qualifier might be needed if the name is ambiguous.

I still think this whole thing's too much, but I'm just throwing it into the mix if there's a greater favor for these tags.
